About Me

ABOUT ME
I love outdoor sports! I play basketball and go hiking frequently. I love bicycling in the city and in the country. I love music and love to jam with friends on guitar, or the djembe drum, and learning some harmonica and bass. I like techno music and trance festivals.
Currently, I work in New York City, and enjoy the cultural events and fast paced energy. I'm tuned in to the pulse of the city. We (my friends and I) frequent local comedy clubs, secret loft parties, events for young people that only local people who are connected to the New York underground scene know about. We are constantly on the move from one barbecue to another, one fresh intimate party to another. Its a great and interesting life and unique to the non-touristy pulse of New York.
I live in a great part of town, the hip, happening, young, fresh, artistic center of the action. I am constantly striving to achieve the perfect balance between the active and the tranquil. One cannot be obtained without the other.
The house in which I live is very interesting. It's larger than what you will typically find in New York. It is shared by a group of kookoo friends, all of whom are interesting in their own unique way. Everyone's very cool and knowledgeable in some esoteric discipline, and proficient in some special skill. We have serious historians, a juggler, musicians, artists, and authors. We are a known address in New York and some important personalities visit us from time to time.
Our mascot is Shosh, an adorable Cockapoo (part Poodle part Spaniel). He's part of the gang!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I feel all peoples of the earth would get along better if they only were less afraid of strangers. Couchsurfing lets you actually meet peoples of different cultures and background and then you find out the people who are so different from you that you fear are not different at all.

Interests

Music is a great passion of mine, both as a participant and as an observer. Typically music will be playing in my room, the style might change between Minimal techno, Rock, Reggae, or tech house. It depends on my mood, but will almost always be upbeat and happy.
I'm very active. You will often find me on the basketball court or bicycle trail, or walking in the park, with or without the dog.
Music events are really important to me and I try and go to one at least twice a month. Indoor or outdoor.
