About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Currently travelling to discover myself and to figure out my path in the world. The best way of doing that is to see how other countries and their people's values contribute to the world.
ABOUT ME
Since my graduation, I have travelled for a while. I discovered that I love biking! 100%. I'm currently planning bike travelling that may start in 2016, depending on my life's plans. My strongest value is sustainable living so bike travelling parallels very closely with my values as an individual that hopes to influence positive change. I also love cooking good food, especially different cuisine. My attitude towards food is to experiment with flavors using the same ingredients one may use everyay. My health has inspired me to pursue healthy food and maintain my attitude about good, cheap food. Because of this attitude, I love cooking for my loved ones and guests! Especially hungry travellers. I hope to establish a business model that delivers locally sourced food at a reasonable price to people of various communities someday.
PHILOSOPHY
My philosophy is that we are all interconnected. One smile at a stranger will change our day, one good dish will change a person's mood, a friendly hello will change a person's decision about their worth. This goes to animals as well. Dogs, cats, dolphins, tigers, pigeons, etc etc...they are their own living being and that is what I respect the most. I try my best to spread good energy, but as I am human, I will have good and bad days. Again, I'm young so my philosophy will change over time. But my fundamental beliefs is to be sustainable and put myself in the midst of the ecosystem, not at the top. We are only humans after all.
My travelling philosophy is to be mindful of my choices everyday. Even on the bad days. Mindful travelling goes further in the mind and soul and allows growth that will be imprinted in the traveller forever.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have not hosted yet but will do so after I finish travelling. I've had my share of good and bad hosts so I want to try my best to provide a good experience to guests. But at this time, I'm just travelling.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first CS experience was with a family in Iowa back in September 2014. It was a great weekend! Their openness and security made me feel so welcome. I was in Iowa to pursue Wilderness First Aid certification so I needed a place to stay for few nights. They were great with accommodating my needs. They were also vegetarian/vegan so I had the experience of trying new vegetarian dishes. Therefore, this changed my perspective on food and to pursue more vegetarian/vegan goodness. They left an imprint on my heart and thus, I'll carry that friendliness when I become a host.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The one most amazing thing I've seen in my lifetime so far is the deep blue ocean that I scuba'd in. There were so many marine life that I felt like I was in dreamland and breathing slowly. This was in the Red Sea at Eilat, Israel.
