I’m Yogesh, originally from a small, peaceful town in Himachal Pradesh, and currently living in the UK for my Master’s in Logistics & Supply Chain. Because of my background, I naturally connect with people and value simplicity, respect, and kindness in everyday interactions.

I genuinely enjoy meeting new people and listening to their life experiences. I love learning about different cultures—whether through conversations, cooking, or spending time together. I’m vegetarian, and I enjoy trying new flavours and sharing simple homemade dishes whenever possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing because I really enjoy meeting people from different cultures and learning how they see the world. For me, travel is not just about visiting places—it’s about connecting with real people, sharing stories, and experiencing everyday life in a new city.

Being away from home, I appreciate genuine human connection and warm conversations. Couchsurfing gives me the chance to meet locals, understand their lifestyle, and also share my own experiences from India and the UK.

Music, Movies, and Books

I’m someone who enjoys a mix of things. When it comes to movies, Interstellar is one of my all-time favourites — I love films that make you think and stay with you even after they end.

In music, I mostly listen to instrumental tracks because they help me stay calm and focused. But sometimes I switch to something different, like Brazilian phonk, depending on my mood. I enjoy anything that has a good vibe and helps me relax.

I’m not a heavy book reader, but I do enjoy reading simple, inspiring stories or anything that teaches me something new about life and people.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share simple and tasty Indian vegetarian dishes — cooking is something I genuinely enjoy, and I love introducing people to flavours from my home.
