About Me

English

When I take breaks from chasing after the main goals in my life, I seek for great adventures. I usually travel without long-term-plans or big commitments. that's my recipe for a good trip.

I would say that I'm a fun and friendly guy. I enjoy meeting new people. You're invited to become a part of my adventure, by travelling together, hiking, going to a museum or a to concert, or just by having a coffee.

Me gusta conocer gente. Te invito a ser parte de mi aventura: viajando juntos, hacer hiking, ir a un museo o un concierto, o simplemente compartir un café.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling as a Couchsurfer gives me the opportunity to find the magic in a place by experiencing it through the eyes of someone who loves it. Most of the greatest travel experiences in my life were related, in a way, to Couchsurfing;

The same goes for the riskiest travel experiences in my life :) In Argentina, I almost lost my hand while being instructed (in a foreign language!) on how to use fireworks. In Russia, I slept for three nights under a huge oil portrait of dictator Joseph Stalin. In Bolivia, I got arrested by a couple of corrupt cups, and in Chile the police has sent a rescue team to save my host and myself from an almost-deadly thunderstorm in the mountains.

My mom says that I should be more careful, but at this point she also admits that the greatest way to explore our world is with local couchsurfers around you :)

Interests

Hiking, biking, swimming, jogging, or any kind of physical activity that can be done out in the wild. I love getting to know places that I visit through their history, economy, politics and culture.
