I'm a French student who want to discover the world and meet a lot of cool people, to escape from the quotidian routine from which I feel like a prisoner. I like to move, to discover new things, to have parties (a lot...), to meet new people from all over the world...
Right now I am a student, who doesn't really know what to do after his studies... I just want to travel the most I can before I am trapped into the terrible "metro-boulot-dodo" rythm, as we say in french (it could be translated by "metro-job-sleep". But it doesn't sound the same...).
I'm really fond of series. I can watch it for the entire night, if I'm really into it. This is my way to "leave the world" for a while, getting to know more and more unreal personalities. This is like a book for me actually, but even more powerfull, for some of them.
I also like languages (this is actually what I'm learning this year). It makes me travel even before I have the chance to go to a country. And when I finally go there, I like to be able to communicate with their language. I think it makes you closer to the people you meet, and it is also a way to learn their culture even before you know anything about it. A language is extremely rich, and sometimes so different than what we already know, that you actually learn a culture and a history of a country without knowing anything of it. This is something quite fascinating, I think.
What else about me... I laugh, a lot. I like to laugh and smile everytime, even if I look stupid, I just can't help it, I'm like this :D. If I don't smile, it generally means that there is something wrong (at least, it's easy to see!). And I like everyone. Really everyone. Especially when I'm drunk... Yeah, because I must confess... I drink alcohol! (Damn...). Oh, and I talk a lot... This is why I'm gonna stop my description now :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to discover the entire world. This is actually me dream, and it hurts me a bit when I realize that I will never be able to see every single cool things that the world can offer to us...
I want to meet some new people, who can be able to teach their culture, to tell me their experiences, and to make me discover new things, new places, new people...
Whether I host, or I'm hosted, I think it's always interesting and rewarding to hear different stories from travelers, even if they are from your own country. People have so much to share, it would be a shame to let it go...

Interests

I never know what to say when I'm asked "what are your interests?". There are so many things you can be interested in. What I've just written before is not so different as other people I guess, but I really don't know what to say. I'm really interested in a lot of things. I won't say everything, of course, but even when I don't like something I try to understand why I don't, and sometimes I finally appreciate it. For instance, I'm not really into video games, because I think that you loose your times by doing so (but actually it's not really worse than watching a lot of series! ^^ So I can't say anything), but I'm not against playing sometimes, especially when it's a game I don't know... And God knows that I don't know a lot of games... ^^

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't know... But I'm really open minded about it!
However I will share my favorite TV serie, which is, for me, the best EVER: Orphan Black. A story about clones, all played by one actress who is absolutely AMAZING! I don't say more, otherwise I could spoil it, and it's not the goal... Just, watch this serie! :D

Teach, Learn, Share

As I've just said before, there are so many things to share... And when you share, you teach and learn at the same time. I could say that I could teach french, learn your language, share a beer (definitely!)... But I'm sure that we can do better than that! :D
