About Me
Hey there, I'm Jonathan! By day, I'm a data scientist who spends a lot of time trying to teach computers how to talk like humans. But by night (and sometimes even during the day), I'm a bit of a goofball who loves nothing more than connecting on a deeper level and (from time to time) making people laugh and .
One of my latest passions is improv comedy. There's something so thrilling about jumping into a scene with no script and just seeing where it takes you. I love the way that improv pushes me to be creative and spontaneous, and it always feels like a great way to let loose and have some fun.
But that's not the only way I like to connect with people. I'm also a big believer in nonviolent communication, which is all about expressing your needs and feelings in a clear and respectful way. It's like the opposite of that passive-aggressive note you left on your roommate's dirty dishes last week...
And of course, I still have plenty of other passions to keep me busy. I love playing the piano and improvising/composing ( mostly romantic) music, which is a great way to unwind after a long day of data crunching. I'm also a big fan of strategy games like poker, Catan and pétanque, and I'm always up for a little friendly competition.
At the end of the day, though, what really matters to me is connecting with other people. Whether it's through laughter, music, sports or a heartfelt conversation, I believe that the strongest connections come from being true to ourselves and our passions. So if you're down to chat about data, play a few games, and maybe even jam out on some romantic piano tunes, hit me up!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have slept in a (very north) Norwegian distant wood, with no suitable equipment, almost getting hypothermia in my seek of the aurora borealis.
