Hi, I am 30-year-old East Asian guy living near Cambridge, England. I grew up in Shanghai and spent most of my adulthood in the UK.

I work in academia, am a programmer, and devote my career to improving human health.

My name comes from 上杉鷹山, Yozan Uesugi, a Japanese prefectural statesman in Edo era. No deep reasons for the choice, I just like how playful it sounds: whiskey & Yokan.
