About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Will move to Hamilton from July 2019 onwards for a PhD at Waikato uni. I am looking for a place to stay for the next 3 years and meet with other people, share life stories and passions. Make new friends:)
PHILOSOPHY
Joie de Vivre.
Something that I learned in France. Enjoy everything life has to offer, don't worry too much and
try to be living in the present instead of planning the future :)
Life is what happens to you when you start making plans. So damn true. That's why I don't make plans:)
Listen to your heart. Always.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Music, Movies, and Books
I like films based on true stories. Or stuff like Amelie, Into the Wild, Memento, Lost in Translation. Other films that make me happy are Chocolat, Mamma Mia, You've got mail.
Music depends on my mood. But basically something in between Jack Johnson and the Killers, French rap, world music, Chambao and more jazzy stuff like Diana Krall, Brooke Fraser, Café del Mar etc. Hope it makes some sense to you.
Love to read travel literature, biographies, populair science, Paulo Coelho, books about people who have done something amazing.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
traveling in India :-) Expect the unexpected
I love trains so def. some train journeys in China
Cycling around New Zealand :)
Meeting the Dalai Lama
Learning French and working in Antibes whilst partying, enjoying French wine and cheese and meeting people from all over the world, I see this phase as the birth of my travelling life :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Love to learn slacklining, acroyoga, surfing, permaculture and meditation. And how to make a good chai.
I can teach yoga (hatha, vinyasa flow, yin yoga), share French cooking recipes, I can share travel stories, daydream along :), anything about tourism, how to get the cork (that is inside an empty wine bottle) out of the bottle without breaking it
