About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see the world

ABOUT ME

I was born in California, but my parents traveled around the US, and ended up in Mexico for six years. From the time I was 4, till I was ten, I grew up there and loved every minute of Zamora, Michoacan. After that, I moved to Texas where I've lived ever since, until moving to Japan. I want to travel the world, experience the culture, landscape, and man-made wonders alike. I love horses, nature, and music. And I am an idealist.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe we are all connected to one another. Every action has an impact. We must act in the best interest of ourselves and those around us. Also, just have fun! Life is too short to have a little cloud hovering overhead.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've lived with a fellow CS member for a year. I welcome anyone interested in visiting Osaka, where I currently live. I can offer a couch, but I'm mainly interested in showing off the town.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My greatest accomplishment so far has been in Music. I have traveled and performed with my Junior High, High School, and University groups in both choir, band and orchestra. The best time in my life was when I practiced something and had the satisfaction of knowing we all did our very best on a performance.

Also, my experience at summercamp in Missouri have taught me to appreciate nature and be creative about problem solving. Camp also introduced me to horses, that I spend two years in study with, learning to care for and ride. It has been a long time since then, but I still look back on those days fondly.
