ABOUT ME

My name is Yoko and am fairly new to the couchsurfing world. I have had a chance to go to an awesome event on January 30, 2013 where I met CS members and got to talk to them about their experiences.

A little about me, I love to run and have two of the most amazing and adorable dogs anyone can ask for. Miles is a little pitt /mix that I found on the street and Isabella is my beautiful boxer. In addition to loving to run and adoring my dogs I also love to travel. I have done a lot of half marathons all over the States. I will be doing the Cleveland Marathon in April and some last minute ones in the States. My passion for running gave me the idea that I should experience other countries doing the two things I love, running and traveling. August 5, 2013 is the Inaugural Dublin Rock & Roll Marathon. Have signed up and am ready to go.

Some of my previous running and traveling events have included the Loch Ness Marathon, a 10K in London, 10K in Kilkenny and many impromptu runs with local groups.

I decided to join couchsurfing to meet people with my interest of travel. My goal is to run in as many countries as possible.

I'm very outgoing, funny and extremely polite - I think. Most people will say that I'm fun to be around.

Just ask, I'm off on the weekends and I do a bunch of runs so I have a lot of weekend activities planned.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have never done it, hope to start doing it in 2013.

YEAH! As of January 30, 2013 I can officially say that I have some form of experience with CS. Although, it was just an event, it was fun. Met some wonderful people. Open minded invdividuals with that sharing spirit you don't see often.
