Overview
About Me
I'm an French-American living in Alsace. I have degrees in Psych and French from the University of Texas at Austin, and worked for educational non-profits in Houston and Austin for several years before returning to school to obtain my master's degrees in Ethics and Human Rights from the University of Strasbourg.
Interests
I love language-learning but I'm pretty confined to French and English officially. I'm an animal lover. I love being outside and doing all things hiking/camping. I'm usually pretty frugal and non-confrontational. I still enjoy bars and going out dancing when the music's good. I generally keep a pretty open mind.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to about every genre of music there is, I like hunkering down for a good movie or show, and I’m an all around book worm.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm not sure what qualifies as amazing, so here are three fun facts:
I've fed hundreds of free-range macaques (monkeys) by hand at la Montaigne des Seinges near the border of Germany and France.
I headed a community service organization for high-schoolers and volunteered about 500 hours in community service between 2013 and 2016.
I've climbed around in multiple deserted castle ruins. Wasembourg, Waldec and Fleckenstein. Always fun.
Teach, Learn, Share
I taught Psychology and beginners' French to high schoolers from 2013 to 2015. I was an editor and grant writer for 3 years. I’m now certified (CELTA
B Cert. from Cambridge) to teach English internationally.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Food, fun conversations, games, good vibes. I'm always tidy and happy to help clean or cook.
