About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to experience everything I can before I die
ABOUT ME
I'm all about the outdoors, staying active and playing and listening to live music. Music is truly the international language. I recently spent 10 weeks in 14 European countries with my guitar. I love meeting new people with different cultures and sharing experiences.
PHILOSOPHY
Let me hit y'all with some truth:
Don't sweat the small stuff, and it's all small stuff.
Everything we are is a product of what we have thought.
You will get what you truly want the most.
I'm up for anything, as long as it comes with new experience.
It is my mission to experience everything I can before I die. It gives me perspective.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've surfed in Amsterdam, Paris, and Sicily. Now it's my turn to host in California.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Amazing. The hosts I've had have been so welcoming and accommodating, so soulful and interesting. Surfing has made some of the best memories and experiences possible that I've ever had.
The best experience was playing guitar with my girlfriend Katelynn in Amsterdam for our host Teun with a glass of wine and some candles: was what Teun called a wonderful private concert.
Interests
Any board sport: snowboarding, wakeboarding, wakesurfing, skateboarding and anything else.
Music! I play guitar, bass, and some piano. I love any kind of music with a beat or groove I can connect with. I love how music can portray and influence emotion and memory like nothing else. "The four right chords could make me cry..."
All I'm bringing to Europe is a backpack and my acoustic guitar. I can't wait to see how many people I meet through music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In Thailand, I partied with my friend's Uncle and the police force in a village outside of Nakon Suwon. We shared a bottle of scotch and the cops love to eat rat. I tried it and after a few shots ate quite a bit of it. Tastes like chicken I guess.
We all got smashed, and I blew them away with pictures of my Yamaha R1 motorcycle on my iPhone. They insisted I rode one of their police motorcycles. I did. No helmet. Drunk. They let me play with their pistol (empty) and then a drunk cop drove us to the bars. At the bars we got free drinks all night and were treated like royalty. All the girls wanted to talk to me because they never had seen a white person. It was insane and so much fun.
