ABOUT ME
hi there, i've been living in hamburg for 15 years. I live in a shared appartment with 3 flatmates in Altona Altstadt. I am an easy going person and I am interested to get to know ppl from all around the world :)
About our flat: we have an internet and phone (germany and EU) flatrate you can use 24/7. Public transport is just around the corner (S-Bahn Altona/Königstraße/Reeperbahn/Holstenstraße) and the elbe or harbour ist not far away by feet. If you come around bring your sleeping bag with you. Please respect, that our kitchen is vegan/vegetarian. You can smoke in the kitchen :)
One of my flatmates isn't there during the weekends, so than you could have your own room. It has a sofabed and 2 people can sleep on it. We also have a guest mattress for a third couchsurfer.
I care about social problems/politics and hate authorities and people who are racist, sexist and antisemitic. Therefore i join rallies concerning antifascism, anticapitalism, lgbtq*-rights and so on ;-)
I work part time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
before I got to know cs I was already hosting ppl from other cities, countries etc. and I couchsurfed at different places in the world. I like this idea very much to get to know locals and their social environment habits, perpectives etc. I'm not into the idea of all inclusive holidays ;-)
Interests
My favorite party locations in hamburg are uebel & gefaehrlich, hafenklang, pudels, fundbureau, rote flora and i also like open-air-events (when it's not raining ;-)
Stuff i read deal with topix like postmodernism, critical theory (frankfurt school), german history, gender and queer theory, philosophy, postcolonial theories, history of collective movements/experiments
Other things i like to do besides dancing are hanging around with friends, watching movies, being lazy, reading, biking, hitchhiking, discussing politics ...
Besides that i play sudoku and i spent a lot of time at the www (probably to much).

Music, Movies, and Books
kinda hard to answer. I think Anne Frank "Het achterhuis" and Etty Hillesum "het denkende hart" left deep impressions on me as i was a teen. My favourite dutch autor is Harry Mulisch (de aanslag, de ontdekking van de hemel).
Important german books would be "die dialektik der aufklärung" and "das Kapital". Emma Goldman ("living my life") has been a sort of role model for me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
i think, i made my biggest step as i was 16, i left my islamic home to life my own live
Teach, Learn, Share
i can teach you dutch/turkish/german/english and would like to learn spanish/arabic.
What I Can Share with Hosts
it depends on the couchsurfer i will be hosting and how we get a long ;-)
