Overview
About Me
Hi, I’m Yonatan! I’m a filmmaker and video artist from Israel, passionate about exploring the world and connecting with its people. Through my art and travels, I’ve found that the most meaningful experiences often come from shared stories, open hearts, and a willingness to see life from a new perspective.
Traveling isn’t just about moving from one place to another—it’s about immersing yourself in the energy of a place, understanding its rhythm, and forming connections that leave you a little different, a little better. I’ve lived in Mexico for several years (where my family currently is), and it taught me that every journey is as much inward as it is outward.
I believe that every encounter has a purpose, whether big or small. Couchsurfing feels like a beautiful way to weave those moments together, creating a tapestry of human connection across the world. I’m grateful for the opportunity to share this journey with others, and I’d love to meet you, hear your story, and share a part of mine.
Let’s create something beautiful together.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I see Couchsurfing as more than just finding a place to stay; it’s about creating small ripples of kindness and connection. I believe in the power of community, and I love the idea of exchanging not just space, but stories, laughs, and maybe even a meal or two.
Interests
Creativity & Art: Filmmaking is my craft, but I find inspiration in all kinds of creative expressions.
Nature & Travel: Whether it’s walking through a quiet forest or watching the sunrise over a city, I love being in the moment with the world around me.
Mindfulness: Yoga, meditation, or simply sitting with a cup of tea and being present—I try to make space for the simple things that ground me.
Languages & Culture: I speak English, Spanish, and Hebrew and would be happy to share or learn from you. Languages are like bridges between worlds.
Cooking & Sharing: As a vegetarian, I enjoy making nourishing meals and experimenting with recipes that reflect the flavors of a place.
