About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To create strong and positive connections with like minded people and being the best person I can be in any given moment.

ABOUT ME

I've been hitchhiking and backpacking around Europe with my girlfriend Ada for the last year or so. Even though it was not always easy we managed to travel over four countries, meet and befriend amazing people and most importantly have fun. At the moment we have quite a lot of luggage so be prepared to be allocate a safe corner somewhere where we can keep our stuff. We've recently bought a stage piano that weighs more then I expected. This is in addition to my guitar and our complete sound system (amplifier, microphones, cables and accessories) that we need to have a good music performance in the street. With all this stuff it's a bit difficult to travel, but I am very happy that we have them and it's slowly hard to imagine not having our equipment with us.

How to describe myself? Intriguing and inconclusive. It's hard to define myself and I think every person perceives me different. What I can say is that I try to be a good person and I like to think that care for the well being of others and try to be patient, tolerant, forgiving and communicative. I am still working on bettering myself in these aspects as it's a lifetime of work to be the best person you can be. One thing you have to keep in mind is that these are just words on your screen and can't reflect the experience you might have by meeting me. The best thing would be to meet me in person and find out for yourself.

If you are really eager to know more about me right now you can check my social network profiles:

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Sharing our traveling tales and making you smile.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been using Couchsurfing for almost two years now and I've been using it for a short time when it was not a big corporate entity it is today. A lot has changed since and I generally dislike the direction this platform is going in, I liked it much more when it was more about people and less about people's money. So far I've had minor negative experience but enough to discourage me from participating in the network. I always like to leave a reference but that cannot be said for a lot of people that we stay at, so I have surfed much more couches then the reference would lead you to conclude.

Interests

Traversing the digital sphere searching for interesting content, observing the Earth's landscape and it's inhabitants, practicing the art of introspection...

Listening to uncommon music and enjoying the sight of interesting photography and digital art in general.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy indie artists such as Jonathan Coulton and Kimya Dawson. I am not a big fan of electronic music such as trance, techno or house.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Backpack from my hometown (Rijeka) to the capital of Slovenia (Ljubljana) through the mountains on foot for one month.

- Abandon formal education channels and pursue the path of open source self-education that stimulates creativity and freedom of expression.

- Decide to become a professional traveler, to hitchhike and backpack around Europe. I will be doing this until I figure out what I really want to do in life.

Teach, Learn, Share

What can I teach you?

I am more interested in learning then teaching at this stage of my life because I don't feel that I know enough to be able to teach someone.

What would I like to learn?

I would probably like to know more about the world, science and life in general. Some practical skills such as crafting, cooking, musical performance, photography, drawing and painting.

What could I share with you?

My philosophical view on life and a mind-blowing conversation free of non-selective cultural influences. You could probably persuade me to share my Steam library with you as well.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We are traveling on a 'shoe & string' budget and making our living by playing music on the street so there is not much in the way of material possessions we can offer you, but we will be more then happy to help you in any way we can.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, France, Germany, Hungary, Slovenia, Switzerland
