About Me

ABOUT ME

I was born in Nagoya and grown up in Tokyo. Since I've moved between Nagoya and Tokyo very often because of my father's job and my study, I love to travel, live in different places and meet new people.
I used to be too shy to talk to people. I couldn't make a phone call without a note. But several events in my life changed myself. One of the best events was my first travel to NY all by myself on my 20th birthday. After that I started to explore the world with a backpack. I believe traveling by myself made me more strong, confident, easy going, and openminded.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

・Hosting /
Currently I am living in a small flat and working until very late on weekdays. I am sorry to say that it will be very difficult to host you.

・Surfing /
I used to be quit busy when I was on a trip and didn't try couch surfing. Since I changed my travel style, I try to know the country I visit through communication with local people and staying with them. I've tried couch surfing in Denmark, Chile and Argentine, which was one of the best memories during my travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been traveling all over the world since I was 20. I had been just visiting museums to see famous thing and tourist places registered as a World Heritage Site, which I found it boring just to see. I've been trying to talk with the people living there and trying to live as they do.

My first couch surf experience was in Copenhagen, Denmark. I visited my host in the midnight, but she welcomed me with huge hug. I stayed with an Australian lady surfer and Polish couple surfers there. We shared great time, and I got a lifelong friend. I'm sure that experience with my host, wonderful Danish lady has changed my life!!
