I am fairly hippie and colorful on the inside, however look more like I just came from the gym and aren't happy with the results.

Shy, sometimes. No reason, mostly.
I'm a nerd. Often.
I love to cook, and am rarely without music around me.

~ What I'm working on:
Seeking discomfort, spinning fire and dancing with the flames, biking until I hit the horizon, creating mind-boggling string-art, organizing awesome juggling festivals, sweating my ass off with Freeletics, running around a table tennis table until I crash into a wall, ice bathing to cool down again ;-)

Anyone who thinks sunshine is pure happiness, has never danced in the rain.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Apart from (rather obviously) meeting new people, learning new things and making new friends... talking to strangers and organizing events.

Asking weird questions, discovering strange answers, thinking about the name of the wind, or the spirits of the forest. You know, normal Thursday evening hobbies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Organizing fire spinning, juggling and flowarts festivals in Berlin, psytrance parties in the Netherlands.

Going out for a 3 km run and doing a half marathon instead.

Night swimming in a lake in Cambodia, with no one around for miles, while looking up at a cloudless star spangled sky.

Grinning like a maniac towards a 500+ audience during a fireshow, and dancing around the stage with two way too heavy fire contact staffs.

Buying and decorating my first Christmas tree at the age of 35 ;-)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach a bit about juggling and performing with fire. I play mostly contact staff, but also dabble in poi, devil/flower stick and double staff.
