I just quit my job because I found myself waking up in the morning and asking myself the same question..."is this what the rest of my life is going to be?" Quite frankly, it scared the shit out of me. So, I did what any rational and sane person would do...I gave my boss notice and decided to just pack up and figure out what exactly my life is going to be along the way.

I come from a large extended family and am a really outgoing person, sometimes people are a bit taken aback by it but I figure it's better to be the person who tells you what's on their mind, rather than be the person that everyone wonders what they're thinking.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For the experience. I want to meet people that I would never have met any other way, hostels from what I hear are great and you can make good friends by staying in them. But I want to immerse myself in the cities I stay in and make lifelong friends, what better way is there to find out if we could be lifelong friends than to live together?

Interests

I absolutely love sports, you can find me with my family at some type of sporting event most weekends. It can be baseball, american football, soccer, hockey, basketball...anything that gets my adrenaline going and blood pumping. I love sports because each team is like an exclusive club, if you find out that someone you just met supports the same team it's pretty much a gateway into guaranteed friendship. Sports bring all kinds of people together, it's amazing.

I'm an avid reader, fiction, fantasy, romance, biographies, pretty much anything with a great title that catches my attention.

Music...basically anything, except for hardcore rap and screaming metal.

Movies, I love horror films but of course you can find me shamelessly watching Lifetime movies on a Friday night with a glass (or bottle) of wine/beer.

Books, covered this in the above section but I love all of the Harry Potters (If you don't, that may raise a giant red flag for me, because really, who doesn't love them?) Game of Thrones series, The Hunger Games series, Gone Girl, anything by Robin Hobb or Brandon Sanderson, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived with 3 fraternity boys in college...if you don't think that a girl living with 3 boys that were in a fraternity throughout college is amazing, then I don't know what is.

Oh, and no I did not date a single one of them! ....pretty amazing, right?

What I Can Share with Hosts

Want home cooked meals? Luckily, my mom passed on her amazing skills in the kitchen and it would definitely be fun to switch out some of the american ingredients in my recipes for traditional ingredients from whatever country I'm staying in!
