I am a 21 year old musician, I perform regularly in London and Northampton and am also lucky enough to be the manager of a brilliant indie rock band!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm currently at university, often couch surfing during the holidays, and I would love to host people after I have finished university.

兴趣

I love music, art, dance, drama, travel and meeting people. I am just coming to the end of my degree in music, and am very excited to be beginning a new chapter as a lecturer after summer! I love to perform and can sing for you if you like :) I have a beautiful hamster and lots of lovely friends, and I love food and enjoying life.

My music taste is pretty varied... I love mainly Pink Floyd and Patti Smith, also love David Bowie, Bob Dylan, Biffy Clyro and Linkin Park, also artists like James Blake and The XX, composers such as Ennio Morricone, and also music which brings back special and/or funny memories, for me this includes Dire Straits, Bosnian turbo folk music, Tim Minchin....

I haven't seen nearly as many movies as I would have liked, my friends in the UK have a running joke that I always fall asleep during movies, which seems to be true, although I'm not sure why I do! So films which I have enjoyed (at least the parts I was awake during!) include... Little Miss Sunshine, Rain Man, Black Swan, Elf...

Books, again I have not read as much as I would have liked, but the ones I have found interesting have been... Sea of Poppies, Sophie's World, Mr Nice, Just Kids...

Playing music next to the Eiffel Tower with a group of little children dancing along beside me!
Jumping off a cliff into an incredibly beautiful (and freezing cold!) lake in Bosnia Herzegovina!
Unicycling 640km from Amsterdam to Paris to raise money for the charity Sands
(I know that's 3 things... I'm pretty indecisive!)

I guess I could teach dancing(ballet, jazz, contemporary, tap), music(flute, cello, theory, basic history of past 50 or 60 years), english (as a foreign language)...
I'm also starting as a lecturer in music this year, so I could teach about the ways in which music interacts with our society, cultural theory, history of contemporary music, etc :)
I love to learn about different cultures and languages, people's experiences and lives, different idea's and philosophies, art, music, dance, and if anyone is willing to help me learning Italian it would be great as I'm struggling a little!! In general I just love to learn, travelling has been amazing for this, I have met so many interesting, skilled, talented people who have inspired and taught me....
