About Me

More daily updates:🎨
• Instagram @YLIshii

I'm an explorer at heart, currently preparing for a 4-month backpacking journey across South America 🌎
This trip is not just about visiting places, but about meeting people, sharing stories, and learning how life is lived in different corners of the world.

In the past, I backpacked across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and Cuba — a journey that shaped how I see the world and people.

This time, South America is calling me.
I'm especially excited about:
• Hiking the Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu 🏔
• Experiencing local cultures through homestays
• Dancing salsa & bachata in local bars 💃
• Practicing Spanish with locals
• Learning everyday life stories from people I meet

I'm the kind of traveler who:
• enjoys deep conversations about culture, life, and personal journeys
• loves outdoor adventures (trekking, gorge climbing, exploring nature)
• documents moments through photos and short videos
• respects local customs and values meaningful exchanges over quick tourism

Besides traveling, I'm also interested in psychology, human connection, and how people build meaningful lives.

I'm happy to:
• cook simple Japanese food
• exchange travel stories
• help with English or Japanese
• explore your city together

If you're open to meeting, hosting, or just grabbing a drink or dancing — I'd love to connect!

Let's create good stories together🌎
