If I could introduce myself in 4 words, that would be An Optimist, A Rationalist, An Analyst and A Lover of People.

Optimism is not just a personality trait for me, its a complete way of living and I greatly appreciate those people who are also capable of seeing the good in people and are driven by the idea of positively contributing into the society by being an effective member of it.

Although, to balance out my optimist love for people, I've taught myself to be a Rational Analyst (I actually get paid for having this skill) and it helps me greatly to live a beautifully balanced, rationalized and more importantly, a meaningful life.

Also, I am a good listener which makes me a good conversationalist.

In summary, I am a people oriented guy who pays attention to the people he is in acquaintance with, studied engineering yet read philosophy and psychology to be able to understand not only myself but everything around me in a meaningful way. Trying to love people and fix their computers at the same time...!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I want to be part of something bigger than myself. Like this big and diverse community we have here. I believe in the Moto "Unity in Diversity" and this unity is only possible when we're given the opportunity to meet people from around the world. By teaching them about our beautifully diverse personalities, culture/values and learn something about theirs. CS is one of the best platform for such a culturally diverse socialism.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
For me, music is another beautiful art which must be meaningful whenever we interact with it...!
Therefore, quality hiphop/rap (NOT THE GUTCHI GANG SHIT) is my favorite where Eminem, Macklemore and G-Easy comes on top! Imagine Dragons, Coldplay and One Republic comes at 2nd. Occasionally I listen to instruments and random music. Summarizing it all, I love meaningful music.
Besides all this, "Sufi kalaam" in Punjabi is something I really love.

Movies and Shows:
WW2, real life stories and Extreme humour are my favourite subjects. But I enjoy watching anything when it comes to passing the time.

Books:
I mainly enjoy reading books on the following topics (not limited to).
