About Me
Hi, my name is Youhyun and I am from South Korea. I am chill, open-minded and easy-going. I travelled around the world for over 2 years recently and just came back to Korea. I can't host right now since I am looking for a house to move in, but we can hang out. I can show you around Seoul and Suwon(my hometown)
The reason why I am on here is to help people out. I got a lot of help from locals during my travels and I want to do the same thing as they did to me while in Korea.
I am a very curious type of person. One thing that I want to know about your country is what it is like to live in your country as a foreigner. I don't want to hear about good things only; I'd rather want to hear about both sides of your country! It means you can also ask me about whatever you want to hear about Korea. I don't get easily offended, so you won't need to be that careful when it comes to questions that you are hesitant to ask
I also like talking about each other and figuring out things that we wouldn't find out without meeting each other such as stereotypical topics, how local people think about each others countries, how people live or interesting/funny international relationships with your neighbor countries.
People say I look too serious sometimes. Yea, I am! But, I am super casual as well. Feel free to message me if you have any question

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe best trip can be made by company that you are with. Discovering a city itself is not much different from just seeing pictures of the city on the Internet.
I believe conversation with people makes your trip a lot interesting and exciting because city views can be anticipated quite easily, but you never know how interesting people you will meet before along the way. When I reminisce a city, the very first thing I come up with is people that I was with. People account for at least over 50% in traveling and Couchsurfing is somewhere I can meet like-minded people.
The coolest thing about Couchsurfing is that it gives people a long-lasting friendship. Someone who gets hosted would visit surfer's country one day and they at least have someone to meet up and hang out with. How cool this is..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived in 3 different countries(US, UK, Australia) in my 20's even though it was not long. Throwing myself into the new world was a bit challenging for the first time, but I found out myself learning and getting used to new things quite quickly. I am proud of myself and it's been the most amazing thing I ever done
Learning Spanish also broadened my horizon because It got me a new language brain system and I am trying to keep language compatibility system
Teach, Learn, Share
I can cook Korean typical dishes for you and teach you how to make them and as a native Asian, I can tell you how Asians are different from other races like Asians way of thinking
