I absolutely love everything I do. Life is an attitude and we are the makers. I am particularly excited by remote places and extreme challenges. I love everything creative and experimental. I love the arts and literature. I love learning languages. I love mountain peaks and sunrises. I love farmers and villagers. I love wind breezes and rainbows. I love people who laugh. I love wild animals and ancient trees.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love the concept of Couch Surfing. It gives an opportunity for anyone and everyone to meet and exchange friendships and wisdom. A shared experience is always an experience worth having.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfing has allowed me to enter into local worlds and ways of life around the world. It is a great experience and offers exposure to something unique each and every time outside of the tourist bubble.

To all of those who have hosted me, opened their hearts and homes; thanks for showing me how much love and trust and heart the world has. Thanks for unendingly inspiring me to keep my own heart open.

兴趣

I love nature! The wilder the better! I get lost in glaciers, mountain tops, hidden valleys, snaking rivers, autumn leaves and unending seas. I prefer to be in nature over any cities any time. I love watching sunrises with wild deers, swimming past seals, walking through forests and discovering hundreds of mushrooms displaying their beauty.

Music is also one of my passions. I have spent my adult life traveling and collecting music from different parts of the world. Music has no borders. It is the bridge that can diffuse some of our barriers with each other.

I'm an English teacher and I love my job!!! in my spare time I trek and swim, listen and play music, plant veggies in my garden, read, talk with friends, get lost in nature, run, play with my chickens, sew, draw, paint and whatever else I find myself doing.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Loving the colors of everyday.

climbing a mountain of 6,380 meters and ice-picking my way up a vertical ice wall in the pitch dark of night. My life were in the hands of others and their lives in mine. We all braved through the dizzying heights with no sleep, little food, no rest, no warmth, little oxygen and bare exhaustion. When the first sunlight came into the horizon and lit up the sky it made everything worth it. Mountain peaks after mountain peaks dotted the landscape and clouds were somewhere far below us. We were up amongst the Gods.

Trekking across the Pyrenees mountain range with a 15 kilo backpack and summiting every peak.
