I just quit my job to become a full time traveler! I'm starting with a goal of hitting all 50 states in 1 year. I'm eager to meet people, see new things, and learn something new each day!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would host if I could, but my current living conditions are not my own. I am planning to explore the United States, and then the world, and hope to find awesome people that want to show me their town/city/village and life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Through my own network of friends I've begun my trip going from couch to couch along the Eastern States, working my way south.

Interests

I like exploring, learning, walking, hiking, reading, art, imagination, camping, theatre, cinema, dancing, cooking, baking, wine, parties, and games. I also enjoy a good discussion, 'doing nothing together' or any of the above things in combination.

Music, Movies, and Books

Now that I have time to read again, I'm attempting to work my way through a much to large pile of books I'm carting around in my car. Current in the midst of:
The Game of Thrones Series
How We Decide by Jonah Lehrer (highly recommend)

I love movies with twists, turns, and thinking. But I can always enjoy a good action, romantic, or otherwise brain candy movie. I've recently fallen into the documentary scene and highly recommend:

I'm currently listening to the compiled Road Mix CDs sent to me by friends, family, and strangers through my website.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Despite a repeated experience, I still marvel at sunsets. I've been to, in or through about 65% of the United States (no math was ever done) and am aiming for all 50 by the Fall of 2013
Jumping out of a working, viable plane was probably one of my favorite experiences ever.
