I’m An Young Bean! Yes, this is my real name in korean. ‘An' is family name and 'Young Bean' is my first name! Actually I have to spell it ‘Young Bin’. But I prefer to use ‘Young bean’! It sounds fun! Isn’t it?

I studied Visual Communication Design. Long name short, I make a video. Music video, Short film, Live video things. I’m work by freelancer. so I have a lot of time to travel! But no money for that. haha! It’s ironic.

Someday I want to be a film director. I mean professional film director! I know it is hard way and I have to study a lot. but I believe I can do this! I love to create something. After making a film, my heart was filled with pride at that moment. I wanna follow that feeling.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I interested in other cultures. When I traveled, I always wanted to meet a native person for going to real life! I want to talk about you and your culture. I really want to meet your life! I’m sick of going sightseeing. Even through It’s a few days, I want to ‘live’ in there. Having coffee with friends, buying some groceries to cook, enjoying party with good people! Traveling is meeting new culture. It's not for going to the sights. And I think Couch surfing is the best way for this!

Intereses

I interested in reading, writing and watching a films. Once a week me and my friends meet in cafe and write something. It could be anything. novel, scenario, essay… and we read own writing aloud. It’s the joy of my daily life. :)

And I love to swim in the sea!! I have a scuba diving license. Whether I have equipment or not, It’s so joyful. Staying inside the water makes me feel comfortable. I don’t know how can I express that feeling. I love that!!

Algo increíble que he hecho

I always challenge for something fun! Two years ago I wrote my bucket list and tried to do the list. So I traveled Latin america for 7 months. I met a bunch of penguins in Argentina. (I love this creatures!!!) I swam with Whale shark in Mexico. (You can watch the video in here! https://vimeo.com/29573267 ) and I ride a bicycle in Uyuni salt desert! I took a film of every moment. After I come back, I made a short film of my travel. It was my graduation work. Fortunately It was showed in independent film festival. You can watch this film!

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I am learning languages these days! English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German. Of course, most of languages are basic level. (very very basic…) I can’t speak well, but I like to speak these languages! If you give me some words, it will be great learning for me! :)

And If you wanna learn korean, I can teach you! Korean is very difficult language. but Korean alphabet 'Han-Guel' is easy to learn. If you give me a 30 minute, I can make you write your name in Korean. It will be funny! 'Han-Guel' has pretty shapes!
