About Me
Hi, I’m Youssef! Originally from Morocco and now based in France, I’m someone who thrives on spontaneity and believes the best memories come from the unexpected. Whether it’s stumbling upon a hidden gem in the city or sharing a meaningful conversation with a stranger, I love immersing myself in new experiences. Meeting people from all walks of life inspires me, and I’m always eager to learn—whether it’s through a unique perspective, a funny anecdote, or even a simple laugh. For me, life is all about building connections and creating moments worth remembering.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The best memories aren’t in travel guides—they’re found in spontaneous evenings, 2 a.m. conversations, or a shared meal with strangers who feel like old friends. I’m not just looking for a couch; I’m here for the stories, the connections, and the moments that make life unforgettable. If you enjoy good laughs, appreciate a bit of clumsy charm, and are as curious about the world as I am, we’ll get along perfectly!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
At 18, I left everything I knew behind and moved to France alone. I barely spoke the language, had never left my hometown by myself, and knew nothing about French culture. Imagine stepping into a new world where every interaction feels like a challenge, every mistake teaches you something, and every day pushes you to grow. I had no guide, no safety net—just determination and a desire to build a life from the ground up. It wasn’t just a move; it was a complete restart. If you want to hear the crazy stories (and mistakes!) that came with it, I’d love to share them!
What I Can Share with Hosts
-A delicious Moroccan mint tea (made with love, and not too much sugar—unless you insist) and a tajine that might just convince you to visit Morocco.
-A passionate conversation about history, travel...
-A quick lesson in Moroccan Arabic, just enough to help you bargain for a rug in the souk or confidently say ‘shukran.’
-A listening ear and genuine curiosity about your stories and life experiences.
-And of course, a good vibe and total respect for your space and routines
