I've lived my life everywhere, following my studies and my work: China, Switzerland, Scotland, France, Italy, and now back in France. For me the only way to really understand a nation, a culture, a country, is to live with the people, it's easy to prejudge by the influence of media and information everywhere, but from my experience, they are often a bit bias, superficial and filtered.

I love people without borders, and I try to be one of them. We’re shaped by our root culture but have a heart to understand and discover others', and are ready to be affected by them.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

According to Buddhism, it takes hundreds of incarnations to bring two people to ride in the same boat. I am not Buddhist(or religious what so ever), but I believe in this expression which indicates the preciousness of the encounter of two persons. I guess that's the main reason why I'm on Couchsurfing, ready to encounter, to experience life.

Knowing a person from another culture is super intriguing for me, I know that it is hard to know a person in a short time, not to speak of the culture behind him/her, but it is always interesting to find out how different people are, and to understand how various cultures can be, and eventually, to learn to embrace them with a humble heart and an open mind.

I consider myself an easy-going person as I get along with most of the people and have true friends around the world. I believe that most of the people who have the "couchsurfing spirit" all are. So let's spend some time together and peer inside another soul.
