I've left the U.S. with my wife and dog to live and travel throughout the world. We're both expats/nomads/vagabonds/travelers who enjoy making friends and getting to know the culture and language of the places we're living in.

I enjoy meeting other people from around the world and especially locals from whichever country I'm living in at the time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to couch surfing. A friend of mine has been trying to talk me into joining to meet other people and joining in on the social activities around town. We'll see how it goes...

Interests

I like learning new languages, reading, seeing movies, skiing, snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, and pretty much any non-team sport.

pretty much anything. i love cheesy horror and sci-fi movies. plus almost anything with subtitles.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's hard to say just one thing. I've slept on the edge of live volcanoes, I've walked where ancient kings lived, I've laughed with people whose language I didn't know, I've fought for my life against a home invasion, I've volunteered in random countries to try to make a difference in the world, and I'm just getting started.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like showing people around the city and advising them on a great, hidden place to chill out and have coffee in. I'm a speech therapist, so I'm pretty good at helping non-native English speakers improve their accents in exchange for some insights into their native language.
