I am a pretty outgoing and social person for the most part. I am constantly hosting events and bringing people together although Covid has out a pause on that. I love to cook and bake which is horrible for my waist but great for your taste buds! Activity wise, I like to spin (I am a peloton sucker), pole fitness, aerial hoop and lift weights. I do enjoy hiking but recent foot surgery has made that a bit difficult, I am slowly getting back in to it and increasing my distances. I have a dog named Millie, a 3 year old Aussie, who takes up a big portion of my time. I love to meet new people and do any and all activities - I think that is why I enjoy hosting. Travelers always want to do things, and I love doing everything! Call me a jack of all trades but a master of none... except baking cookies.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

It is a great opportunity to meet others that are open minded. I also know that Vancouver is an expensive city so I would like to help others experience it in a cost effective way. This city has a lot of beauty to it but it is not easily accessible so I enjoy helping others get to the magnificent places.

I have also used couch surfing as a traveler. I have been stuck in foreign places where plans did not work out and couch surfing saved me. I have also stayed with amazing hosts that let me see a day in the life. I do not want to travel to feel at home, I want to immerse myself in other cultures and this is an avenue to do so.

I am a classic bookworm and my list of favourite books is endless! Here are a few off the top of my head: The Great Gatsby, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, To Kill a Mockingbird, and The Unbearable Lightness of Being.

As for music, anything that sounds good. It is always awkward having my shuffle on at a party, it can go from WAP to some pathetic cry in your room song to Under the Sea... you never know what you'll find on my playlists.

Movies - I mean, I can recite Grease because I am that cool. Titanic is a classic, Mean Girls, Super Troopers to name a few.
