I'm from Manila, Philippines. I love to travel, cook, bake, dance and live! My addiction and passion towards traveling began when I first lived by myself in United States. I lived there for a year in Nashville, Tennessee when I was doing my culinary internship at a Marriott Hotel, then went to travel by myself in San Francisco, California for a month. After heading back to my home country, I decided to book a plane ticket to Tokyo, Japan. After that trip, my life changed completely and all I have been wanting to do is to either come back to Japan or go explore another country that I have never been to! I have lived in Taiwan, US and Japan, and have travelled to countries such as UK, France, and Spain. I just cannot stay put in a place for a long time! I love meeting people from all over the world, and I love becoming friends with them and learning their cultural background. The world is more connected than we think, and it's so fascinating to me!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to find a place to stay that not only is affordable, but also let's me meet people from all over the world as well as meet the locals! I love to get to know how locals from a certain country cook, eat and live! It's so amazing to get these experiences and to get out of your comfort zone! That to me makes everything worth it! And of course, I would love to see the amazing architecture and feel the amazing weather of other countries! I come from a tropical country, so it's nice to experience something like wind and snow every now and then! I will never lose the love for the arriving, but I am born to leave!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled by myself to Japan and live like a local. Got to meet the sweetest and nicest people, and the nice attitude I was able to influence onto others! I was able to help these Italian guys lost in Kyoto take the train with only one of them able to speak English! The attitude of people can really set your mood wherever you are!
