[EN] My name's Ythalo Viana, I'm brazilian and 23. I study veterinary medicine in Pernambuco, a state in Northeast of Brazil. I love travelling always I'm able to. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

[EN] From all the times I've traveled I've always stayed in hostels. I confess I really like its working way, the greater freedom in such spaces. However I'd really like to try new stuff. Couchsurfing purpose was interesting at this point. There is also the fact I am student and saving money is pretty more important interchanging friendships and human experience than spending with expensive hotels and unnecessary services.

[PT] Entre todas as vezes que já viajei sempre fiquei hospedado em hostels e confesso que gostei da forma de se hospedar neles. Entretanto como meu tenho um espírito curioso, eu queria tentar novas formas de hospedagem, e achei a proposta do couchsurfing interessante demais.

Interests

[EN] Cycling, running and camping are my outside big passions. I'm not a big fan of exercises indoors.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love British rock music like Blur, Arctic Monkeys, The Smiths, Pink Floyd but also rock in general. I'm a big fan of rock !

My favorite films are Latin American: Medianeras, Las horas contigo, A vida dos peixes, Mateo, Poker. Latin actors have such a sensibility to deal with critical subjects that that make me amused.

I have this favorite writer all of time whom is argentinian. He's Cortázar. I've read most of his books. Beyond I love Russian literature like Dostoievski, but I confess I should finish reading The Karamazov brothers lol.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Camping on mountains in a 12°C town. Bruh! For someone who lives in a 35°C boiling town that's such a nice thing!
Seeing blood moon with my 89 year old grandma and making her fascinated with binoculars.
Sleeping on streets with friends after a jazz festival, in a place where we didn't have where to stay lol

Teach, Learn, Share

I like teaching how to prepare candies and Brazilian food. I learnt it from my mother and I think other people should taste it. Baião-de-dois is my favorite one! I'd teach anyone how to make it.

One of the things I most like sharing is musical taste. I am quite able to listening to new things, specially music that has to do with an specific place story, what is people usually call folklore music.

What I Can Share with Hosts

[EN] Housework help, washing dishes or even cooking. I have lived by myself for 2 years so I confess I can deal quite well with kitchens. Brazilian food and candies are my speciality. I also can cook this Mexican candy called churro that's delicious!
