About Me

Hi My name is Lacie, I was born in China and moved to Singapore since college, and living here till now. ( so you know I been here for long).
My childhood was spend in a small city near Wuhan,China ( everyone in the world knows where is it now, I'm sort of glad lol) After moving to Singapore, I tend to brew and grow with the emerging culture and tend to travel more around the world, My full time job is consultant and I do different things in my spare time.( diving, kayaking, oil painting, wine tasting, food hunting, lost in a library)

If you are coming to Singapore, there are a few things you may need:
1. Get a ez-link card at Changi airport mrt station
Not in the airport but mrt station, so won’t have additional charge. Renting a car in Singapore is very expensive and public transport are quite convenient, get yourself a metro map at any mrt station.

2. Get a pre-paid 7 days or similar days ( depends how long you stay) sim card
You may get it in airport but cheaper deals are online, can buy online and get it at cheers/711 in airport.

3. Book yourself a hostel/hotel early or find a host
Everyone know Singapore's hotel is quite over-priced and I wish to host you but not now( I haven't gotten my flat) , so find yourslef a host or book a hotel early can save you quite a lot bucks.

4. Check fine related rules
Singapore is a fine city, so make sure you check what you cant do , etc, cant eat in the train, cant bring chewing guns, cant bring drugs ( of coz ) , cant bring your home country cigarette( exceed certain amount will be heavily taxed)

5. Some tourist places
Place like MBS, Night Zoo, Clark Quey, Universal Studio, SEA Aquarium, Flyers, Sentosa are what you'll be recommended in every travel website but I personally like National galleries and National Library, the galleries host different exhibitions on and off ,if you are a museum person, believe me you could stay there for a whole day. National library is where you could go and grab a book , if you have a longer time here. And please keep your tone low, as you may disturb other readers like me.

6. A bridge to Malaysia
If you like to go Malaysia post Singapore trip, take a train to Woodland/ Kranji station, you could across the country board in 30mins, its JB in Malaysia, but be aware that the price over there is not that decent bcoz its spoiled by Singaporean.

I'll post some pictures I took when I go walk around in places I mentioned above, else feel free to drop me a message at CS. I'm learning French but below is not the only french I could speak:
