Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I first tried Couchsurfing in Hong Kong in 2017, I met such a welcoming host, it was a memorable experience. Since I usualy travel on my own I think CS is a simple, economical and cool way to travel around and meet a wide diversity of people. When I travel, I want to live like locals do.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Life is a journey with problems to solve, lessons to learn, but most of all, experiences to enjoy... I didn’t realize any athletic accomplishments up to now but each experience I’ve had taught me a lot.

I won’t forget the amazing sensations when cliff jumping in Kawasan Falls (Philippines), paragliding near The Mont Blanc in French Alps, getting lost in Orkhon Valley (Mongolia), watching northern lights in Iceland (ohmygod!) or swimming with shark-whales in Philippines. 🥰

However one of my fondest memories was in Sa Pa region (Viêt Nam) where I had the chance to meet a Red Dao beautiful and kind woman, Man May. She guided me around the valley, the ricefields, introduced me to her family and community. Hope we will meet again...
