It's been a long time since I logged on to this web since my apartment is too small to host now..Things have changed a lot so now I have to update all the profile information. My name is still Ellen and I'm still living and working in Hangzhou (I'm local), but I've graduated 4 years ago and I don't teach English anymore.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I met a energetic lady who comes from America, and she recommended CS to me, and later she became my foreign teacher in university! She married to a Chinese man there later, gave birth to a lovely baby and I don't think she will do couchsurfing anymore, but I will continue!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to Xitang during a summer holiday, which was the first time I traveled by myself.

Visited my friend in Australia, which was my first time to fly alone.

Worked as a translator in a ceremony about Confucius, which was my first time to be a translator.

Suffered from a car accident, which was my first to realize how fragile life can be and how important my family mean to me.

Watched sunrise with friends on the first day of 2018, and going to do that again in 2019!
