Female born and grew up in Malaysia. Graduated in software engineering, but I have been really interested in languages and travelling. So far, I have visited only Singapore, Taiwan and Japan, but I wanted to go further.

I grew up speaking Cantonese and English as far as I could remember. During primary school, I learned Mandarin Chinese and Malay. I got interested in Japanese when I played Final Fantasy XIII, and from there I started learning how to read Japanese to be able to text my Japanese friends. However, in terms of speaking in Japanese, I'm a little lacking.

I also picked up Swedish on Udemy for fun, but I can only understand very little of it. I also got interested in Russian because I wanted to visit Russia and Kazakhstan someday, but I'm still at the very beginning stage of learning.

My main purpose to travel is to do some sightseeing and understanding the differences in cultures between countries. I gain a lot of insight whenever I am travelling solo and I enjoy that a lot, because along my journey I will get to meet people and make new friends!

I have yet to save up enough to travel yet, but I have plans to travel again in a couple of years.

Making friends from different countries, while hopefully being able to cut down on budget on accommodation because all I'd do is leave my luggage, shower in the accommodation, and sleep.

After finishing my research, I traveled solo to Japan from Tokyo to Osaka. It was my first solo overseas trip and I am very content about it.

I can teach Mandarin and reading hiragana/katakana in Japanese! It has been some time since I used Malay language, but I am also OK to teach some basics that will be more than sufficient for your survival in Malaysia.

I have a lot more that I need to learn, especially to be more fluent in speaking and listening Japanese, as well as Russian and Swedish.
