2024 update:
Currently traveling around Europe long term after spending the past few years based in Taiwan (where I was born) and traveling in Asia/Australia.

On a sabbatical of sorts…namely, I got laid off last year and going home to the US sounds unappealing 🥲 just seeing where the journey takes me right now.

CURRENT MISSION

I first made a profile on CS when I spontaneously dropped out of college for awhile...4 years later, I have that degree, work a 9-5, and keep my sanity by getting as far away as I can on the weekends. Tryna figure myself out, but hey, who isn't?

ABOUT ME

I guess I would describe myself as a free spirit. I love words and writing, sitting on rooftops to ponder and gaze at scenery. Spontaneity is the best, and I'm always open to new experiences and listening to different perspectives. I have both immense love and cynicism towards strangers but have found that my best memories in life come out of trusting the unknown.

PHILOSOPHY

I live for the unexplored, for the new sights that make me stop in awe, for the belief and hope that my path will cross upon another lovely stranger, that my ears will hear a beautiful melody, that I will read poignant words, for the sheer possibility of epiphanies anywhere and everywhere. I live for nights and weekends that take you somewhere unexpected.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Haven't couchsurfed directly from this website yet, but I've ridesurfed and crashed on many friends/acquaintance's couches before haha.

I actually could accept couchsurfers, but my home isn't a very convenient spot for visitors location-wise. I hope to move to a cool city in the not so distant future, and I promise I'll host then.

Haha, some friends tell me that I'm great at getting the most out of life from exerting the least effort possible. I'm not sure if that's teach-able or anything worth learning though.
