ABOUT ME

I started living in Tainan, Taiwan since March 2018, currently studying Mandarin and perhaps later do a working holiday here.
I was born and bred near the beach south of Tokyo, lived in the UK for 5 years and spent majority of my free time travelling all around the world throughout my life.
I do tend to like exotic destinations, and am always happy to learn the local way. Learn to say a few greetings, eat delicious (and sometimes weird) things and walk around a lot.

I am particularly interested in different cultures, exotic cuisines, nature, religious buildings and languages. i enjoy arts and crafts - practice music, visits to museums, besides I make my own soaps.
Sometimes I host small workshops at home, under the theme 'Grandma group', where we try out different things traditional ways like making miso (Japanese bean paste) and soy sauce, baking, cooking together, etc.

Being a student, my first intention was to do with my budget (I'm just being honest haha), but I have been hosted by the most interesting and kind people across the globe with many of whom I've grown genuine friendship, and so far had great travel experiences.
It's a great way to meet like-minded people or people with crazy lifestyles or eye-opening stories :) I tend to be away a lot myself, but I hope to host people more in the future.
