I am working for coffee maker company, living in Ibaraki-prefecture in Japan.

I love to visit strange places in the world.
I visited India and Philippines when I was 18, 21 years old.
India's visit had the purpose to meet some NGOs staffs and Japanese workers, to study poverty there and Indian culture. And Philippines' was to go to language school.

And I have seen many faces of Japan.
I went throughout Japan, from the big city located on most southern part of Japan to the most northern part, and experienced many kinds of local culture and food there. I can teach you many kinds of 'Japan'!
sumo wrestling/ kabuki/ shogi(Japanese chess)/karuta(the card game of Japanese alphabet), Japan's agriculture &politics, a myriad of gods(Japanese unique belief) and other social issues in Japan.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy going to places alone where I've never been, and love to see the local culture and life.

I also like the serendipitous experience.
I choose the actions, events and anything sound interesting even if it is not in my plan.
(although I always plan my trip discreetly and in detail before I leave hometown.)

I would like to accept guests though I am living in Kobe, Kansai-area in Japan.
Osaka and Kyoto are both about 1 hour from my house.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

That is I ate balut(developing duck embryo that is boiled) once in Philippines.
Very exciting experience for me! (Although generally Japanese people eat octopus...)
