I'm a Japanese female.
I was a teacher of a nursery school in Japan.
I quited my job and traveling around the world starting from April 2014.

I'm a bit shy at first meeting.
But It's my pleasure to visit new place and meet people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Some of my friends recommend CS but at first I thought it would be dangerous as I'm a lady. ( yes, I'm a LADY!!)
While I'm traveling I felt I should save money by CS.
But after my first staying by CS, I found it is the best way to travel and know the country more.
I don't know why people could be so kind and have great hospitality as I am totally stranger for them at first.
I should think about what I could do.

Interests

I love to travel. Especially, love to see rocks, cliff and bridges. Festivals and special events make me exciting too.
I like to do diving very much. I got a license of Dive Master in Egypt.
I also love to drink beer! In each country I've traveled I tasted local beer. I love STELLA ARTOIS from Belgium, Negra Modelo and Pacifico from Mexico, Viking from Iceland, Anchor Steam Beer from the USA and many local beers in Germany. Of course I love Japanese beer the best!!
I do Hot Yoga sometimes in Japan. I love to eat than do exercise though:P

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm not good at music but I love Japanese pops.
I love Disney movies a lot. I have watched all kinds of it from old one to new one. I watched a plenty of times the Little Mermaid, my best movie.
I prefer Kaori Ekuni as a Japanese writer. I love novels and movies of Harry potter. My first book in English was Charlotte's web.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One? I'm a person who need time to choose.
I have seen a wild polar bear family in Churchill, Canada.
I have seen sky lanterns in Chaing Mai, Thailand.
I have swam with whale sharks, Manta rays and dolphins in Cancun, Mexico.
I have done diving plenty times in Red Sea, Egypt.
I have seen northern lights in Flatyri, Iceland.
I have counted down in the Times Square in the USA.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm not a party person at all. Talking over beer at home is the best:)
I try to cook some Japanese if I could get some Japanese stuff around your house. Though I'm not a gooood cooker.
I could teach you how to use chopsticks!
