Overview
About Me
Hi! I was born and raised in Tokyo, and I currently live near Ikebukuro. For about three years, I also lived in Aichi Prefecture for work.
I work in the IT industry as a consultant, focusing on improving business operations.
I love taking on new challenges. Recently (November–December 2024), I took a long vacation and spent about two weeks backpacking across Europe for the first time!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
While I’m not very fluent in English, I’m eager to connect with local people through Couchsurfing, rather than just sightseeing. I want to experience deeper cultural and personal exchanges and broaden my perspectives along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music is an irreplaceable part of my life. I mainly listen to Japanese music, but I also enjoy some international artists. Recently, I’ve been into Laufey.
I love genres like pop, rock, jazz, and bossa nova. Back in the day, I was in a band, where I played guitar and was the lead vocalist. I’ve even uploaded a few cover songs on YouTube!
I’m also a huge fan of Ramen Jiro, a unique style of ramen famous in Japan. I love its rich flavors and generous portions! Whenever I get the chance, I enjoy exploring different Jiro locations to compare their tastes. If you’re curious about it, I’d be happy to introduce you to this iconic Japanese culinary experience!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I get a day or two off, I sometimes take my bicycle on long-distance trips, riding around 200 kilometers in a day or two. For instance, I’ve cycled around Lake Biwa in Shiga Prefecture and Sado Island in Niigata Prefecture.
