CURRENT MISSION
Trying to save living beings from exploitation.

Born in the US but grew up in Japan, I went to high school in Michigan, college in Los Angeles, a year in Scotland, then went to Berkeley where I learned some truths behind animal agriculture. I've gotten chances to work at the South Pole, at SpaceX, in Antarctic winter, in the Atacama desert of Chile, on the icecap of Greenland, in Alaska, and on Midway Atoll in the Pacific. I feel young at heart (^^).

PHILOSOPHY
Life is to be enjoyed! but make sure I'm not taking away freedom of others.
Focus on the positive, be constructive, take it easy, live beyond self.
Live for all kinds of changes and varieties in the world.
I want to live a life that would improve every living being’s life if more people lived like it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I open my place for others when I can, and enjoy getting to know local people when traveling. I love letting people crash and being offered to crash :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted whenever I have a place, in USA, Japan, and Chile, and introduced guests to my friends and the area.
I met people through CS in Fiji, Brasil, South Korea, Taiwan, USA, Poland, Slovakia, China, Japan, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Bolivia, Peru, Guam, El Salvador, Ecuador, Mongolia, Ethiopia, Turkey, UAE, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Iceland, Sweden, Finland, New Zealand, Australia, Belgium, Luxembourg. My favorite is when I can get a feel for someone's everyday life.

Interests

Exploring everything, sharing experiences.

Minimizing waste, encouraging myself and others to check our daily practices, saying no to certain products so we can avoid contributing to slavery of fellow beings including humans. Being happy without consuming unnecessary things at the expense of others or our environment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watched thousands of adorable albatross chicks grow up, learning to walk, and learning to fly, and eventually fly away into the ocean. (o^^o)

(Previous: Dug a cave in the snow at the South Pole and slept in it overnight.)
