About Me

What I love and who am I:

- music.
Music is what I make a living through. I play double bass and am studying jazz/pop music in the Music academy in Stuttgart, Germany. I also work in a jazz club, selling tickets and as a booker for our student concert nights.

- languages.
Learning languages is something I invested a lot of joy, time, energy and passion in. Except for my mother tongue, Bulgarian, which allows me to understand most of the slavic languages, I speak fluently English, Spanish and German. But the list goes on with other european languages I have learned at some point and to a different level...

- people.
Both music and languages have always allowed me to come closer to people, get to know them and understand them and also show them who I am and how I feel and understand life. It has never been school that taught me about life. It has been the people.

My free time:

- wherever I go, I will always find a way to contact the musicians and play with them. Either it be a jam session in a bar or just a get together in the music academy.

- as much as I enjoy spending time with people, I also like to be alone, walk, explore and experience new places.

- when I'm free you'll find me either with a language book, or listening to music, or spontaneously hitchhiking with a friend, or maybe meditating, or watching anything that has to do with comedy or science fiction.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used to meet a lot of travellers while I still lived in Bulgaria and I also hosted a couple of them.

More about my interests hmm...

To jazz I add: I love baroque music and would love to learn viola da gamba.
