ABOUT ME
So, i went abroad to Freiburg, Germany for a year..well 11 months...went to school there and even got a bit of traveling in too. I am currently attending Trent University in Peterborough studying Psychology. Can hardly wait to do some more traveling..I am dying to revisit some of the places i explored last year...Portugal especially. I also didn't get to see nearly enough of Ireland, Scotland, or England...or Italy...and I have an impossible list of other countries I am dying to visit.
PHILOSOPHY
I have yet to develop a personal philosophy...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I surfed several couches while i was traveling in europe. I would like to be able to accomodate couchsurfers, but i don't think many people are looking to visit Peterborough...I return to the Yukon every summer...but live with my parents when i am there...but could probably hook someone up with a friend to stay with there...as i have done so before.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have been soo lucky with couchsurfing. I was very skeptical when i first joined and worried about the safety of staying with strangers. So, i made sure that the first time i couchsurfed i wasn't alone. I went to Milan with two good friends, teal and franzi, and we had an amazing time..thankyou Andrea :o) Since then i've had amazing hosts in Portugal and another in Spain...I really think i've been the luckiest person to have been able to meet and stay with the hosts i ended up with. Especially when i was traveling alone (2 weeks in Portugal and 4 days in Spain right after), having hosts like Andrea, Ricardo, Marta and Marco, and Manuel made my travel experience 10 times better, at least!
