About Me

ABOUT ME

Tricky box! I don't know what to write here, but I'll tell you hundred stories about me if we meet))
What do I do in my life? Well, I used to be a college teacher, a journalist, a crazy music and soccer fan. I gave up my careers to do what I like most - freelance translating and travelling. Maybe I should have become a psychologist or a sociologist, because I'm deeply interested in people, their lifestyles, motives and actions. So if you need to talk to someone it can be me :)
I really love nature. I could spend my life living quietly in a picturesque place, but i'll leave this for my 60ies.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Dear travellers, my guests get comfortable accommodation, which is my home and my workplace, so I can't host too often and have some requirements.

I tend to host:
- Active CS users, especially with hosting experience
- People with good sense of humour, smart and having smth in common with me

If your request is rejected, it may be only due to other guests who abused my hospitality and discouraged me from hosting for some time. Thanks for reading and understanding.

Music, Movies, and Books

True to life movies. The movie I watch before every journey - Before Sunrise. Audio books, classics, Graham Greene, Terry Pratchett, Joseph Heller, The Book of Bunny Suicides ))
Music: Music in languages I don't understand, Mind.in.a.box, Mike Patton, Brett Anderson, The Dandy Warhols, Gogol Bordello, Bonaparte, Alice in Videoland, uh, whatever that makes me dance and switch off my brain (no discos, only rrrrock!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I get awestruck easily! Good live music and mountains always deeply impress me. There's nothing better than 'conquering' nature and feeling its magnificence. I have just a few experiences but really hope to continue!

Teach, Learn, Share

My friend told me to smile at my CS pics. He's right! Now I'll smile and be happy!
