About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoying the moment

ABOUT ME

I have been living in Toronto for 2 years and a half
I use to work for a translation company and occasionally as a photographer. I am from France.

PHILOSOPHY

I like to travel but not only just spending a little timing here and there. I like to really see the city from the inside. I would love to live one year here, one year there, but it's also difficult to manage.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to show the city around, and it's a pleasure to meet people with different points of view and knowledges.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met a person from San Francisco , we spend an evening visiting Toronto, seeing in the same night some very different areas. From Chinatown to the Design Area, from the Polish neighbourhood to Boys town.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music : I love plenty of indie artists , i love discovering new artsists and see them performing live.
Jenn Grant, Moriarty, Hannah Georgas were in town this week-end and that was a real pleasure for the ears.

Movies : Into the Wild was a chef d'oeuvre. I enjoyed Eternal sunshine, Slumdog Millionaire, the Lonely Planet's episodes, Departures. tv show: How I met your mother.

Book : I am not a big reader, I am reading the book about Alexander Mc Candless at the moment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Les vendanges : This is one of the best experience I had.September is the time for the recolt of grapes who will be part of the conception of the wine.
French little towns like in the region of the Beaujolais are recruiting people from all around the world, during 2 weeks, to participate in the process.
You really work hard during the day, but you meet people, each one of them has a different reason to be there, all generations represented.
If you have the possibility to be a part of it, this is one thing you will never regret.

Teach, Learn, Share

I did some french tutoring,i play guitare, I have a somewhat indie music knowledge, I cook.

Countries I’ve Visited

Italy, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States
