ABOUT ME

My name is Yulya. I`m Russian, born in Almaty, Kazakhstan, currently living in Montevideo. Few years ago I graduated from university but I`m still thinking about what I want to do in my life. That`s why I like volunteering. It`s a huge opportunity to get life experience, make friends, learn more about other countries and culture. But for me volunteering is more about giving than getting. I like the idea of being useful for other people. My volunteer experience includes few day programs like the British project «The Museum of everything», work on Children`s day, preparing for a children`s hospice event, work with Ukrainian refugees and big events like the Olympic games in Sochi and a six week education project in Indonesia.

Interests

My activities and interests include volunteering, traveling, listening to music, reading books, solving Sudoku and spending time with my friends and family.
