Overview
About Me
I am just a person sailing through time heading to future and jumping from leaf onto leaf carried by the wind.
Even though the hopelessness which lies on the present, various things are still to be loved, and strength and fluidity of nature, the infinity of space, and interpersonal connections are among them.
Sociability pushes us to discover different shades of humanity that everyone hides. All of us have something to share, and for me it is always a pleasure to end up in the right place in the right moment to take the chance to learn from others.
I love both chilling and hanging out, seeking for and being pleased by reasons to do it.
When i visit a city, my main goal is just to check it all: I love walking no stop, even by night, with no boundaries - but winter. I always go for local history, cuisine, traditions and monuments, astonishing landscapes, cute parks, contemporary art, photography exhibitions, graffiti, cinema and tattoo museums, and every kind of free cultural event/venue .
I am yet not a clubber at all. Also, i don't really appreciate shopping hells, too crowded places, uncontrolled consumerism, animals' exploitation, fascism, and - well, you got it...
As you could see, i always tent to be honest - ain't really a good liar - and friendly as much as i feel. Sharing it further - maybe also with you who read this - is just one of my - /our? - goals in life.
Let me just add that i would really appreciate to be referred to with neutral pronouns (they/them/theirs).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love glancing out of the box, meeting new people, discovering new places and exploring every corner of the cities I visit. I can not always do it in my own - even if i love my independence - so maybe someone in here will help me and show me their cities' and their own magnificence. On the other side, i have learnt seeing my city through different eyes, and would be happy to share this.
Interests
Improving myself and the society that surrounds me is my way to show my gratitude for the existence. I've worked and volunteered in different socially supporting initiatives, such as a students' union and NGOs about LGBT+, human rights, environment, fight against mafias, etc; but also education and E+.
My adolescence hasn't been all about culture, unfortunately, therefore my current goal is to read, listen, see, and think. I have an endless watchlist and readlist to catch up with, but to win that human weakness that ignorance is i also crave for good talks and interesting people to learn from. But, yeah, a really long way to go. Even if i might not be able to get every reference proposed in a conversation, give me notions to ponder on, and i'll be happy to!
Visual communication is one of my biggest interests - especially on the cognitive level, but i am just at the beginning of the research of my career.
I love the infinite we are in and want to taste it all, with long walks, hikes and picnics. Wouldn't say biology is an interest of mine, but i definitely do love what living in this planet feels like - overally.

Music, Movies, and Books
My music tastes vary constantly from time to time and from thoughts to thoughts: ANOHNI, Willow, Florence + The Machine, Rosalía, Tame Impala, alt-J, Mø, Björk, Woodkid, 3OH!3, Brooke Candy, Russian Red, Kendrick, Grimes, Lana, Die Antwoord, etc. https://play.spotify.com/user/11184586683
I love the power the visual world has and i love the art that people make from it:
b/w and some east European films, Fellini, Pasolini, Kubrick, Anderson, von Trier, etc., as well as nature-related documentariesare the way: http://www.imdb.com/user/ur46001602/ratings
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
"Amazing"?
Parachuting? Bungee Jumping? Running on burning embers? Some solo trips? My European Volunteering Service? The spontaneity of the shit i always do?
I know there is much better still to do, but my-own-life-experiences-related emotions just tend to get amplified, i guess.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My lifestyle is quite modest, but i can for sure practice my culinary skills in my eventual saviors' kitchen. I don't yet support the trade of living beings, going mainly just for vegetable stuff, and prefer to buy local and maybe package-free - but ain't imposing my things to others, don't worry.
I am also always pleased to chat about society, environment, politics, individuality and perceptive experiences, and whatever the conversation leads to. Ideas develop by being matched with others', right?
