About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to enjoy the life God has given me, to share joy and hope, to learn and teach and to love
ABOUT ME
My friends would say that Yuna has waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much energy. She loves to laugh and to hear other people laugh and nothing brightens her day like seeing a beautiful smile. Unfortunately she herself has this really loud laugh that echos throughout the universe, bothering nearby people...but at least she's not a grouch :)
PHILOSOPHY
I'm not a laid back person because I have a ton of energy but I don't like unnecessary confrontation or conflict and have a three day rule I live by-"if what I'm upset/mad/irritated abut won't matter in three days, let it go!" That keeps life light and carefree.
Also, we only get one of everything during our time on earth-one life, one pair of (original) eyes, one set of hands etc....take GOOD care of yourself because by the time you realize you need to, it will be too late. Do the thing you love to do because one day, you might not be able to. Enjoy each activity, each day, each year to the fullest because it will soon be gone! Aprovechar!

Just go light on the heavy metal and the poetry and I'm down for anything.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Definitely going on a jungle trek through Thailand! I went alone to do biomedical research on malaria and ended up making great friends with other interns from India, Thailand, France, Taiwan, Korea and Myanmar. We booked this tour where we rode elephants, went white water rafting, stayed in the jungle in a small village, floated down the river on a bamboo raft, went to a snake farm etc. It was an unforgettable experience, not only the friendships but the adventures!
