About Me

CURRENT MISSION

No regrets!

ABOUT ME

Quiet when needed.
Loud when partying.
Dream to travel the world.
Exchange crazy stories.
Live a life with no regrets.

Born and raised in Canada, after some years of school and work, I decided to move to Asia after 3 years of travelling. Travelling changed my life as it did for many people here. Now I'm living in the heart of Taipei City. It's been a roller coaster.

My parents left Asia for a better life. I left Canada and moved to Asia for a better life. Go figure.

PHILOSOPHY

Free and easy.
Go with the flow.
Be happy.
Travel everywhere!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Continue to travel and meet similar minded people and establish my own network of Couchsurfers and travellers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed some parts South East Asia for the better part of a year with only the most positive and amazing experiences to tell about.

Interests

Other than travelling?! Probably everything else on Earth! I have the problem of finding an interest in nearly everything.

Music and movies of all languages in all genres. If it's good, it's good!

Athletics, sports and exercising. I respect those who have the motivation to keep a good mind, body, and soul.

Diving in exotic places.
Snorkeling in the same.
Still trying to improve in tennis.
Cooking edible food.
Sleeping just enough.
Indoor rock climbing sounds a little safer.
Hockey, I'm Canadian.
Skating and not falling.
Not snowboarding into trees.
Skiing through powder.
Hiking to the top of things.
Trekking through the thick of things.
Surfing, cause it sounds cool.
Biking the reverse of uphill.
Gym, but not skip leg day.
Watching movies.
Reading.
Discovering new music.
Trying something you wouldn't normally eat.
Learning languages.
Cirque du Soleil.

Music, Movies, and Books

End of the world movies (ironic? haha).
Travelling shows (Departures).

I listen to everything but I'm a big fan of live music. I'm musically impaired but admire those who have a natural talent for it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Dived some of the clearest waters of The Philippines, Indonesia, and Thailand.

Climbed to the peak of Mt. Kinabalu in Borneo, Eastern Malaysia.

Became true friends with a family in Northern Myanmar.

Teach, Learn, Share

As a Chinese-Canadian living in Taiwan, I can teach the combination of multiple cultures and the perceptions of them in Canada and in the East. The ideas of other cultures as well as my own are quite open and free in Canada, but not without some uniqueness. I'm down to just chill and grab a bite around town if you fancy that.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Whether it's a place to crash or just a meet up to make new friends. Life's an adventure.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Cambodia, Canada, China, France, Hong Kong, Iceland, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Myanmar, Netherlands, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada, Taiwan, Thailand
