I'm talkative, extroverted, enthusiastic and straightforward person.

With some people I enjoy long, intense conversation, with others I love to go on trips, adventures or parties. It depends on what we have in common.

I usually spend my time riding horses, climbing, bug hunting and watching series. I enjoy spending time with friends, having candid conversations or playing boardgames.

From time to time I enjoy breaking out of my comfort zone and I go somewhere on my own, find an adventure or two and get some new ideas to chew on.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I believe the only way to get to know a place is to meet the people who live there, join them for an afternoon or an evening.

Ever since I first heard of couch surfing I feel better traveling, as I know I can find friendly faces all over the world.

I didn't couchsurf much, but I did meet many couchsurfers and it was always a nice experience, discovering our similarities and differences. Sometimes a long, thoughtful conversation about things that happen, sometimes rolling down a hill for no other reason but to have fun.

I want to meet all sorts of people, lend a hand or stop for a drink. I always remember places by the people I meet there, as they are much more interesting then museums and other must-see stuff :)

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Once I rode a horse in a sunset, feeling like a cowboy, tipping my imaginary hat to an imaginary lady. I almost heard a nice melody playing in the back... That is before a duck flew out of the bush, spooked the horse and left me flat on my back in the mud.

Then I remember - when on a horse, think like a horse. Bushes can be scary, you know? And water hoses - you sure it's a water hose? Cause it could be a snake. Someone said SNAKE?!?

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

At work I deal with microcontrollers (tiny computers) and I know a few things about programming them. I also use Python a lot (this, however, is not a snake) and I am happy to teach you how to write the first couple of lines of code, so you can impress your geeky friends at a later time. As a student I was occasionally teaching horse riding and I know a nice place to try it out, if you're up for a day trip :)

I can prepare a humble number of different vegetarian meals, find a nice lounge playlist on youtube and bring a pack of cards. I have a respectful stamina for boardgaming, so if a play partner is required, I'm glad to oblige...

I'm also happy to volunteer, if you need an extra pair of hands for an afternoon, be it mucking stalls, helping with an event or anything else that is better done in company then alone :)
